Tempting and Delicious

Our chocolate department, with its breathtaking assortment of over 300 varieties, is one of the most important addresses for chocoholics and connoisseurs around the world. The great French names are comprehensively represented here. From the inventor of high quality bitter chocolates, Valrhona, we offer vintage and single-plantation chocolates (Gran Couva, Caraibe, Guanaja, Chuao and Manjari) with a cocoa content of up to 71%,  and the Parisian Chocolatier Michel Cluizel is represented with his sensuous creations made out of layered cocoa beans.

Andrea Slitti, the Tuscan world master of the chocolate industry, has created an international sensation with his hand-made delights. We can introduce you to a comprehensive collection by this multiple award-winning artist. Chocolate cake with hazelnuts from Piedmont, ferri vecchi – hand-made from the best bitter chocolate, dark chocolate with a cocoa content of 60-100% and chocolate covered raisins all make selecting the right one for you a mouth-watering, if bitter-sweet choice!

Also from Tuscany comes the premium chocolate from the brothers Amedei, who bring their unique passion to every aspect of the whole chocolate-making process, from planting to selection, conching and final processing.  Apart from the rare cocoa beans Criollo and Trinitario, Amedei also take full advantage of the versatile range of tastes that the very rare Porcelana cocoa bean can bring to the palate.

Piemontese traditionalists Venchi, who earned their reputation with the softly melting Cuneesi, use for their highly regarded chocolate specialities cocoa from Venezuela, Ecuador and Ghana. With flavours as exotic as ginseng, peperoncino and absinthe, chocolates by Venchi promise unforeseen and unforgettable taste sensations!

Naturally, the soft, exquisite chocolates by renowned Belgian chocolatiers Godiva, Côte d’Or and Caffetasse are also extensively represented.

You can also find high quality chocolate from Austria; Tiroler Edle, the hand-made chocolate from the company Haag/Landeck, can be found here in all its variations, and the much sought-after hand-made chocolate creations by Zotter, among them pepper grain with mint, wild boar crackling and white nougat with red nuts are already part of our standard assortment.
